I'm Pamela, born and raised in Livigno, among these mountains that have always been part of my life.
Sunrise isn't just an apartment: it's my family's home, the one that watched three generations grow up. Telling you its story is a way of truly opening the door to you.
The Baita Dos, 1970.
The story of Sunrise has its roots in 1970, when my grandmother Giuseppina, a mother of six, decided with her family to build what would become Baita Dos. With a lifetime of savings and the contribution of her children, a home designed for family life came to be — built with sacrifice, love and a deep bond with the mountains.
Over the years, that home grew with our family, keeping memories, generations and so many moments of life. My mother, its custodian for many years, later chose to entrust this apartment to me. Today I care for it, carrying forward this small part of our story.

Two worlds, one home.
A few years ago, life took me far from these mountains. I met Mike, who had come to Livigno on holiday, and together life carried us to Tuscany, where we now live.
Tuscany has become our home, but Livigno has remained an important part of me. It is precisely from this meeting of two worlds that our way of living Sunrise was born: Mike walks beside me in caring for this house, making it ever more welcoming, warm and special.

We like to call Sunrise gezellig: a Dutch word with no real Italian translation, which holds the idea of a place that is welcoming, pleasant and warm — a place where you simply feel good. And this is what we hope you will find at Sunrise too: a little corner of home among the mountains.
Because some houses are simply places to sleep. Others keep a story. And this one is ours. End of the story.
