1. Data controller

2. Data collected and purposes
a) "Check availability" form. The data you enter (name, email, optional phone, stay dates, number of guests, message) is transmitted through the Web3Forms service and delivered to the controller's email address, which uses it exclusively to reply to your request and handle a possible booking (legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject's request, art. 6.1.b GDPR).
b) Navigation data. As with all websites, the hosting may automatically record some technical data (IP address, browser type, requested pages) for the security and operation of the service (legal basis: legitimate interest, art. 6.1.f GDPR).
c) No children's data. The site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from persons under 14.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited; measurement ID G-M7MCPT6CMQ) solely for website usage statistics. It may process visited pages, interactions, device and browser data, cookie identifiers and approximate location; contact-form contents are not sent to Analytics. Legal basis: consent, art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
The Analytics tag and cookies load only after your explicit consent; if you choose “Necessary only”, no Analytics request is sent. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled. If accepted, the first-party _ga and _ga_<id> cookies distinguish browsers and sessions and are configured to last no more than approximately 13 months.
Your choice is stored in localStorage under “sunrise-cookie-consent”. You can reopen the banner and change your choice at any time. Refusing analytics does not limit browsing or form submission.
4. Third-party services that may receive your IP address
For the page to work, your browser contacts some external services:
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) — loading of the site's typefaces.
- OpenStreetMap — map embedded on the "Livigno" and "Contact" pages.
- Web3Forms — secure delivery of the enquiry form messages.
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting.
- Google Analytics 4 / Google Ireland Limited — usage statistics, active only after consent; Google's privacy policy also applies.
The WhatsApp, Google Maps and email links activate only if you click them.
5. Retention period
Requests received remain in the controller's mailbox for as long as needed to handle the request and, in case of a stay, the legal obligations (guest communications, tax matters). Analytics cookies expire after no more than approximately 13 months; data retention within the GA4 property follows the setting configured in that account. Data is not sold for marketing and no advertising profiling is carried out.
6. Non-EU transfer
Some providers (Google, Vercel, Web3Forms) are based in the United States; the transfer relies on safeguards provided by the GDPR (adequacy decisions and European Commission standard contractual clauses).
7. Your rights
At any time you may ask the controller for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, or object to the processing (art. 15–21 GDPR), by writing to sunriselivigno@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated; the version published on this page with the review date at the top prevails.
